Latell best placed to handle Trumbull’s auditor job | News, Sports, Jobs

MR. EDITOR:

I have been truly honored to be a public servant for over 40 years, and have had the distinct privilege of being your Trumbull County Auditor for the past 17 years.

During my tenure as County Auditor, I established a professional staff and together we maintained the financial integrity and stability of the County. We have been recognized as one of the top auditing offices in all 88 counties of Ohio and have received CAFR and PAFR awards for excellence in financial reporting from the National Governmental Financial Officers Association.

Being Trumbull County’s Chief Financial Officer is hard work and cannot be taken lightly. Therefore, I personally endorse Tod Latell to be our next Trumbull County auditor.

Along with other county elected officials, I have had the privilege of working alongside Tod Latell on a daily basis and being in contact with him. I am proud to say that he will continue the excellent service that you, the ratepayers of Trumbull County, currently receive and deserve through his leadership, financial record and integrity.

Trumbull County currently has a budget of $52 million and Tod Latell has the experience to continue our monitoring practices. Tod’s entire career in banking and as your Trumbull County Recorder has been about checks and balances.

Therefore, I humbly request that you vote for Tod Latell as the next Trumbull County auditor on May 3. Thank you for your past support. Let’s keep the auditor’s office in experienced hands.
