The Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10 mirrorless cameras were launched in India on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The Japanese company claims that they are the first EOS R mirrorless system cameras to feature a sensor APS-C image.

Alongside these new cameras, Canon has also launched two new kit lens options: the RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM and the RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM. These new lenses can also be mounted directly on full-frame Canon EOS R cameras.

Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10 price

The Canon EOS R7 body is priced at Rs. 1,27,995, and if you pair it with the RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens, it can be had for Rs. 1,64,995.

Meanwhile, the Canon EOS R10 body costs just Rs. 80,995, and together with the RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens, it is priced at Rs. 90,995.

The Canon EOS R10 can also be paired with an RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens for Rs. 1,17,995.

The standalone RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is priced at Rs. 28,995, and the RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens is priced at Rs. 45,995 .

When will the Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10 be available?

These Canon products will be available for purchase in July 2022.

Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10 specifications

The Canon EOS R10 can also be paired with an RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens for Rs. 1,17,995. The Canon EOS R7 is equipped with a 32.5 megapixel sensor and has built-in image stabilization, a weather cap as well as two SD card slots.

The Canon EOS R10 form factor is smaller and incorporates a 24.2 megapixel sensor as well as a built-in flash. Both cameras feature the DIGIC X image processing engine and new autofocus (AF) technology for responsive and reliable autofocus.

Canon claims that both cameras are capable of high-speed continuous shooting (up to 15 fps) in both mechanical and electronic front-curtain shutter modes (with AF/AE tracking).

The Canon EOS R7 and Canon EOS R10 cameras feature a “Raw Burst” mode that captures full resolution RAW images at up to 30 fps. The Japanese company claims that this mode supports pre-shot, which starts recording the scene 0.5 seconds before the shutter is released.

The Canon EOS R7 is the first APS-C EOS camera with an integrated 5-axis sensor-shift type IS mechanism. Additionally, both cameras are equipped with Movie Digital IS, which offers 5-axis image stabilization for shake-free video.
