The Post Office has launched the ‘Interactive Voice Response (IVR)’ feature for Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) customers through which they can benefit from a plethora of services for national savings plans (small savings plans). savings) by calling Indiapost’s toll-free number 18002666868 via their registered mobile number. Call the toll free number 18002666868 and undertake the ways listed below to perform various account-related services:

press 1 for Hindi

press 2 for english

press 5 to view the account balance (all plans). (Enter the account number followed by #)

press 6 to block the ATM card

  • press 1 using the card number
  • press 2 using the account number
  • press 3 using the customer ID (CIF No)

press 7 for other services

press 2 for India Post Banking Services (POSB)

press 1 for inquiries or transactions on your savings account (SB / PPEF / SSA)
(enter the account number followed by #)

  • press 1 to know the status of the check issued on your account.
  • press 2 for details of the last four transactions on your account.
  • press 3 for details of a specific transaction in your account.
  • press 4 to see the interest earned and paid or the tax deducted on your account.
  • press 5 to stop paying the check from your account.
  • press # to repeat the options.
  • press * to return to the previous menu.

The toll-free helpline for inquiries 18002666868 is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, except Sundays and public holidays. And to file a complaint, POSB account holders can visit https://www.indiapost.gov.in/VAS/Pages/ComplaintRegistration.aspx and enter all the required and mandatory details to submit their complaint request.
